[App][2.2+][Free] GMD Speed Time (root) increase farming speed
location: androidpark.com - date: November 8, 2012
Tired of waiting till your crops grow in your favorite farming game? Lack some gold to expand map? No more. Increase your farming speed with GMD Speed Time.
I created this application for my daughter.
This application increases time speed in farming games. It does so by increasing device clock speed. Device will be showing wrong time when you start service. Application will restore time when you stop service.
Note that in video I increased speed of time x110, but lower values are supported too, like x2 or x3. At the moment max range is x1000
*** It speeds your device clock by constantly setting new time - it may not work in some games. ***
Google Play: GMD Speed Time
If you like this application please support further development and buy it from Google Play for 1$
Newbie: Process Error Notifications, No Root, What to do next?
location: droidmania.com - date: January 21, 2014
I have a Pantech Breakout that I have been using as a WiFi only device, music and facebook. Yesterday I got notification that 2 google processes had stopped, I clicked okay and everything seemed normal. Then I got notification that I was low on space so I moved Facebook and Amazon MP3 to the SD card. After that my phone and contact icons disappeared from the menu and I got notification that backup is not installed. I rebooted the phone and it has erased everything and won't let me move past the "select language" screen. It keeps notifying me that backup is not installed.
Since I only used it for a WiFi device I'm not overly attached to it but I would like to know if there is a fix? My skill level? I've never rooted a phone before and don't know if it's even possible since I can't actually access the Breakouts menus. I'd also be interested in a lightweight rom (not necessarily stock) so long as I can still use the play store to access Amazon MP3 and a running program like
No superuser permission after root?
location: droidfarm.com - date: November 26, 2010
I rooted by DX today using z4root...have the Superuser skull/crossbones in the app drawer...but when I try to wirelessly tether, it says I'm not rooted. Any thoughts on how to actually grant myself SU permission?
Previous to trying z4root, I tried the "one-click" method popular on Google, as well as the ADB method...neither was successful.
"Not Root! Sorry, but root privileges are needed to run this application." error message rec'd using Wireless Tether For Root.
"Error. Unexpected error occured! Inspect the log and try the troubleshooting guide." error message rec'd using Barnacle Wifi Tether.
I would try to unroot and re-root, but my z4root doesn't have the "unroot" button I've seen other posts mention...

Help! Recover lost photos no root!!
location: droidradar.com - date: August 17, 2013
I accidently deleted a photo and I'm really pissed to find out you can't access the mass storage mode on a Samsung Galaxy S3 without it being rooted first. I just don't know what to do. I've searched all over and everything I find is an "easy" fix and will recover your photos BUT only if your phone is rooted first. Well mine is not.
So next my question is, if you root your phone won't you lose all the information on it? So basically I'm screwed right? Because I can't root my phone and then recover?
I've never rooted my phone so I wouldn't even know where to start. I just feel so screwed over right now. Does anyone know of a way to recover accidently deleted photos without rooting first?
I have this software installed right now, but it can't access my phone because I can't set it to be mass storage mode.
[Guide] [How to] Run windows or mac os on your android.[no root needed]
location: androidpark.com - date: August 20, 2013
This is a guide that help you to run the windows on your android phone.
I have tested this by myself using a low end arm6 600mhz with 256Mb ram qvga (240x320) display device and a high end 1.5Ghz phone with 1 Gb ram and 720p display.
Both works well( It took about 5min to boot ) So this will work on almost every android device.
Just download the file using the link, extract the SDLApp.apk and install it.
Then extract the SDL folder to the root On your phone. (mnt/sdcard/here)Then you're done !!!
Open the app "lib sdl"and wait...(may take about 1~20 min to boot into win95)
If you want to try to run applications or
access your SD Card within windows create a
folder called HDD in the root of your SDcard
and put whatever you want in there. You can use that foldr as your Hard disk.
Ok enjoy !!!
Install 3rd party apps to Kindle Fire: No root or file manager required!
location: droidmania.com - date: July 28, 2012
Amazon restricts the apps you can install on your Kindle Fire. But what if you want to get apps from outside the Amazon Appstore?
Here’s an easy 3-step solution, with NO root and NO file manager required. Sideload from thousands of free apps directly to your Kindle Fire!
On your Kindle Fire, go to: Settings > More > Device> Allow Installation of Applications. (Turn this ON and click “OK”)
Note: Settings is the gear icon in the top right of the screen.
On your computer, download and install SnapPea for Windows: SnapPea - Android's Best Friend SnapPea is the easiest way to manage your Kindle Fire from the desktop!
Use a Micro-USB cable to connect your Kindle Fire to your computer. Open SnapPea for Windows and it’ll automatically connect to your phone and install the SnapPea app on your Kindle (so that you can start side-loading apps). You’re all set!
START INSTALLING APPS!
1) Go to: Download > Apps and download from thousands

location: androidpark.com - date: May 27, 2013
I developed a (free) tool to move your Whatsapp history from iPhone to Android. Read the tutorial and spread the word if anybody needs it, already a few hundred people used it succesfully!
ps if you know java, a stack overflow thread is linked in the Throubleshooting section. I wasn't able to solve an apparently-random issue so any help is appreciated.
