[Mod]Beats Audio boot animations
location: droidmania.com - date: March 18, 2012
Think the stock boot animation is wack? Me too. Got Beats Audio mod on your phone? Me too. Got Beats Audio version of Google Play Music on your phone? Me too. Don't you think it's time to update that boot animation to fit better in the overall look/theme of your phone? Me too!
There are some Beats Audio boot animations floating around out there but either they're for HTC phones or not the right size for our phone or just plain suck so I went ahead and made a couple specifically for the Atrix 2.
v1 - Pulsating Moto logo found on the Atrix 2 followed by the Beats Audio animation
v2 - Pulsating Moto logo found on the Atrix 4g (sick red glow effect) followed by the Beats Audio animation

During my search I also found these one's, made by binux-project at XDA
-Download file to sdcard
-Using a file explorer (Root Explorer) move the file to /system/media
-Rename existing bootanimation.zip to
Bluetooth Audio Issues with Car Stereo
location: droidradar.com - date: September 1, 2013
Ok so while I really love my Moto X, I did notice a few bugs with playing music through my car stereo via bluetooth. The first bug is that it won't automatically reconnect when I start the car, I have to manually enter my bluetooth settings and select my car to have it connect. The next bug involves playing music, while voice calls are fine.....I noticed that there is a lot of static in the background while playing any music. Finally I noticed that when the music is playing, if I move the device around it can make the music skip.....yes it's a bit odd but if I keep the device in certain positions then it's fine.
I am driving a 2013 Subaru Legacy and previously was using my Droid Bionic with it to stream music and I experienced none of these issues. Does anyone have any ideas?
Bluetooth car audio auto connect?
location: droidradar.com - date: September 17, 2013
People with car bluetooth and bluetooth adapters hooked up to their aux port for music and hands free, do you guys get connected automatically when turning on the bluetooth on the phone, assuming that your car bluetooth is already on. Or do you have to connect manually each time by going into settings?
Car Audio with a Galaxy Note 3
location: droidradar.com - date: October 8, 2013
After 10 years, I am looking into getting a new car. The car I am looking at has bluetooth, AUX in and a USB in.
I know I can plug the phone into the AUX in, but that is probably the least attractive option since I will also have to plug in a second cord to charge it.
My questions are:
1) Do most cars support bluetooth A2DP streaming?
2) While I know iPods can be controlled via the USB port, is there some way to do the same thing with an android phone.
3) Is there a more appropriate place on AndroidCentral for me to post these questions?
Bluetooth connection problems with car audio
location: droidradar.com - date: October 17, 2013
Recently upgraded to an S4. Previously with my other 2 phones(Razr and Bionic) I would just hop in and if the bluetooth was on and previously paired, it would just connect. Not so much with the S4. I pair it and when I pair it in connects and everything works perfect(media audio and phone).
Problem arises on my next trip when I get in the car. The phone has bluetooth on but it doesnt connect. Even manually going into settings and clicking for connection doesnt work. A lot of the time, the only way to make it work is to delete the BT profile in the car, unpair the phone, and start the whole process through. Really a hassle
I have downloaded two apps(A2DP Volume and Bluetooth Autoconnect). This has made it better but not entirely fixed it. By better I mean now SOMETIMES when I get in the car it does connect but this behavior is not consistent and for the love of me I cant figure out why it's acting the way it is. It is a new car, a 2013 FR-S, so its not like the bluetooth is outdate
[Modifying]A10 Chinese 2 DIN Car Audio WinCE6+Android 4.x.x with "GIBROID"
location: androidpark.com - date: January 12, 2014
I want to present you the work done by Serg090909 on the 2 Din Chinese Car audio system many people begin to use.
This sort of Car audio use WinCe 6.0 for Radio/TV/BT and the Android part for GPS and everything android can handle.
I only found information about modification in russian language by this famous guy i want to thanks gratefuly : Serg090909.
He made possible to boot from Sd-Card new builds (apollo tvbox and caravn776 build) for this sort of car audio and called it "GIBROID".
With this way, you don't touch at the Nands and don't damage your system.
Insert back your original Sd-Card to boot normally, nothing is replaced in the nands when you switch to your GIBROID Sd-Card
Work has been done to backup your nand and write nand again, but for end users GIBROID from Sd-Card is a better thing and the easiest way to do.

Ipod icon in the dock (how clueless is that?? Android and Apple aren't friends)
*Actually to be honest, I kinda understand it. A lot of people use their ipods/iphones to listen to their music. My major gripe about this though is that- I CAN'T GET RID OF IT! I don't want an Ipod app on my Android. I would like to figure out how to get rid of it. I'd much rather put my bluetooth icon in the doc.
So far I've installed Skype, Space Colony Live Wallpaper, Maps With Me, and RecForge Lite. I haven't tried TB or Root Explorer yet, as I don't have root access (yet!). It comes p
Close to Studio Quality Audio on Samsung Android devices
location: androidpark.com - date: February 25, 2014
So I've been working out how to get studio quality audio on Android with a powered mic for a while now and I finally have it. I'm using XLR to Android with a few adapters, some custom, some purchased. I wanted to share some pictures of how this setup works.
You can check out the previous threadhere, where I showed a resistive method. Today, we're going to use a capacitive method. The hookups are basically the same, however, this method will lead to higher ouptut.
It all starts with a great mic. You will probly already have a mic to use if you're looking at this guide. I can recommend two if you are in the market. The Blue Yeti seems to be the best quality microphone I could find, This microphone can work on USB or XLR, which means, with a proper cable, this single mic will work on the desktop as well as an Android device. The other mic, pictured below is an Audio Technica ATR-6550 http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica.../dp/B002GYPS3M . While these are both aweso
No Speaker Audio in Android 4.1 and 4.2, Headphones Work Fine
location: androidpark.com - date: March 11, 2013
I believe this is either a switching issue or a sleep/power saving issue with the audio kernel modules, but I'm not really qualified to try and fix it.
I have tried everything - WebOS doctor, reflashing, wiping various partitions, different Roms...all the same.
In WebOS, and even Ubuntu, speaker audio works perfectly. In ICS, I had the issue of audio not working at all unless I booted with headphones plugged in, and after boot, I could unplug them and have speakers or headphones work until the device went into deep sleep, requiring a reboot with the jack plugged in to get audio once more.
In JB, I have to plug in the headphones before the device decides to deep sleep, or have them plugged in at boot to get headphone output. Upon boot, with or without plugging in the jack, I don't get audio out of the speakers whatsoever. I have tried boosting the audio levels in WebOS and then rebooting to CM10 to no avail as well...I'm stuck!
Considering all these audio woes, I'm just sick
[Q] Android 4.4 Roms on Galaxy Note II Causing Headphone Audio Problems
location: androidpark.com - date: January 2, 2014
Android 4.4 Roms on my Galaxy Note II have been causing headphone audio problems. Otherwise audio works fine, as with any other non 4.4 rom. Has this been happening to anyone else, and if so, does anyone have a solution? =/ Been looking forward to 4.4 for monthes, this is just so disappointing.
