Sense Analog Clock Widget Random bug
location: droidmania.com - date: May 28, 2012
samsung Prevail: rooted
MOD: CTMOD 3.6
Kernel: koumaKernel 2.5
Problem: the app, Sense Analog Clock Widget
At random, atleast it looks that way, i might change something.. or after a update of another app..ill reboot, and the App RESETS itself to default settings...means, i have to go back there and click the settings to show info,battery..etc..time zone, tap settings..all this all over again.
Are there any other widgets/apps affected and/or do They themselves suffer the same fate?: NO
I can set it up just right, and usually not have this problem for a while, but its random..so i dont know...
Could it be a developer problem, an app bug?
could it be the MOD (doubt it)
could it be the Launcher, "Sony Xperia" (who knows- need more subjects)
any one else have this same issue?
i miss clock/weather widget from htc sense
location: droidmania.com - date: May 29, 2012
I was wondering if anyone knows of any alternatives that I can use on my HTC sensation as I really miss the clock/weather widget from HTC sense, I rooted the phone and got a ROM from the cyanogenmod website which has totally wiped the whole of HTC sense.
I definitely made the right decision as sense was crashing all the time and now my phone runs so smoothly but I really miss the clock/weather widget. The rom from cyanogenmod doesn't even have a weather app so I'm not sure what to do at this stage.
Ideally I'd like an app that has a similar digital clock display along with the weather (would be nice if the location updates itself like the HTC sense app did).
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
HTC Sense 8 Clock Widget for Samsung
location: droidmania.com - date: March 9, 2015
Hi fellow Droids!!
I am looking for a comprehensive way to run the weather/clock widget from the HTC Sense 8 on my Samsung phone (see image attached, sorry for the large size). I Googled for widgets and UCCW skins but I just cannot find a way to achieve this. Does anyone have ideas on how to do this? Thanks a lot in advance!

Proudly presenting you the most popular ROM for HTC One...
"My phone is now perfectly smooth, fast, stable. I do not expect much more from my phone!"
"This release is amazing! ROM feels super fast! Great job Mike & the team! (...) Never noticed any lag. 1 word: brilliant."
"Feels a lot smoother in use - scrolling, swiping between sense screens. Much nicer feel. This is a real good one, Mike. Many thanks :)"

Sony Xperia Z acting up, night clock/daydream problem
location: droidmania.com - date: February 6, 2014
My Xperia Z is acting up after I updated it. It used to have a nice night-clock function under alarms and clocks, that would keep the clock lit during the night. This is now gone and presumably replaced by the daydream function.
The daydream function doesn't keep the clock lit, it just replaces it with colours. If turn off the daydream function, the clock turns off after a while.
I tried using third party night clocks, but they keep crashing the "Home Screen". All in all my phone feels less functional now than before the update. Is there a way to restore the system to the previous version, or getting the built in alarm clock to keep the night clock lit during the night?
location: droidmania.com - date: September 13, 2013
I used to like the Daydream clock function of Rootbox on the S2, whereby a dim clock is shown during Daydream mode (settings>display>daydream)
Samsung's daydream has all the other completely useless features (colours/photos) but no clock.
Typical bloody Sammy!
If you want the clock function however, then download DeskClock.apk and LockClock.apk from my DevHost site here, (taken from 4.2.2 S2 RootBox) copy to /system/app set permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot.
When you then go into the Daydream settings, you will get the far more useful clock option. I set this to come on when charging.
How do I get Timely daydream clock while in dock?
location: droidradar.com - date: January 4, 2014
How do I get my phone to display this daydream face while in my dock? I think only Timely has this daydream look and I have Timely but when in my dock my phone automatically uses a plain clock that bounces around, which I'm assuming is the default android daydream. And I don't see any way to change default daydreams.

Disable daydream clock mode while driving?
location: droidradar.com - date: February 5, 2014
I use the daydream clock at night and have it set to activate only while charging, but this also causes it to activate while using the car charger in my car mount, so the screen only stays on for 30 seconds or so and then fades to the clock. Is there any way to set it so it doesn't come on while driving? At the moment I either have to run the daydream clock manually every night, or go in and deactivate it if I want to plug in the phone in the car.
