Virgin Mobile HTC Desire, 2013 release
location: droidradar.com - date: December 4, 2013
So now that there's a new HTC Desire, is there going to be a separate forum for it? This is going to get confusing. Virgin Mobile USA is simply calling it the HTC Desire.
Elsewhere, I've seen that model referred to as the Desire 601, even though VM doesn't use the numerical designation. HTC Desire (601) announced for Virgin Mobile | Android Central
I've been referring to it as the HTC One Minus, since it clearly borrows so much from the HTC One and HTC One Mini.
Regardless, can we get a new forum set up to talk about this thing? Mine is due to arrive in 3-5 days, and I'll need someplace to gripe about things!

So I am stuck. I am thinking about getting either an HTC Desire 601 or the ZTW Supreme (Vital). What are your opinions on these phones.
Also are they that much better than the LG Optimus F3? Help!!

Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy SII VS. Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE, LTE or no LTE?
location: droidmania.com - date: March 23, 2013
I'm signing up with Virgin Mobile soon and I've got a bit of a dilemma on my hands, because while the G SII is a better phone, the Victory 4G LTE has the LTE support that the G SII doesn't have, so my question is, should I get the lesser Victory that has LTE, or is Sprint's LTE not quite good enough to warrant getting a lesser phone, people are saying that LTE should have coverage identical to 3G by the end of 2013, but is that a true promise? In other words, I prefer the G SII in almost every way to the Victory, but since the G SII is not compatible with LTE, should that be a good enough reason to downgrade to the Victory?
Galaxy Note 3, Note 2, S4, S3, and S2 Flash to Boost, Virgin Mobile, Ting, etc.

Proof of concept:
These instructions should work for Boost, Virgin Mobile, Ting, other Sprint MVNO, and legacy plans such as SERO, etc. I followed my exact steps as described in the Galaxy S3 thread...and guess what...it worked. Even the *2 (launches Sprint Zone app) method to activate the phone via WiFi also worked. I didn't do anything special on it whatsoever.
1) You have your Samsung Galaxy phone USB drivers loaded.
2) You know how to configure your phone to get to Diag mode.
3) You know how to configure DFS to add the serial port where your phone is connected.
4) You know your phone's MSL and Samsung password and have entered both in DFS.
