[ROM][BETA][4.4.2] SlimKat for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 4/7/2014
location: droidmania.com - date: March 25, 2014
This is a beta release of SlimKat for the Optimus Elite so please don't expect this to be 100% stable. You may get random reboots and lockups or you may not. Before flashing this rom I recommend you make a NAND backup just in case.
Calls and texts
Tethering using an app called "Wifi Tether for Root Users" from the play store with the settings used in F.A.Q below.
What's partially working:
NFC ( NFC tags and google wallet are non functional.)
What's not working:
You tell me
you may have random reboots or lock ups or you may not.
Google Wallet doesn't work and opening it causes nfc to not work until you do a reboot. Will fix this soon.
There may be some graphic issues on apps such as Google Maps.
Q. What settings do I use
LS720ZV6 Update : Do I Want It? (Virgin Mobile)
location: droidmania.com - date: January 7, 2014
I have the LG F3 on Virgin Mobile. It has begun nagging me for the noted update. Do I want it? If not how do I get it to LEAVE ME ALONE for all-time?
As far as I'm concerned the phone works great now and I'm content to not rock the boat.
Best Virgin Mobile Phone with strong signal
location: droidmania.com - date: August 8, 2013
I have an LG optimus slider and yes have had a subpar signal at home for quite some time, awesome signal at my work.
When I say weak signal I mean my reception shows 90-100db.
Which phone currently from Virgin Mobile has a good antenna? I know some phones get better signals than others.
Is there a way to check, maybe a website you can check that shows phones with good reception, etc, before buying?
Any help would be great.
Thanks so much.
What's the *second* best Virgin Mobile phone?
location: droidmania.com - date: August 19, 2013
Hubs and daughter are set to switch over to VM when their ATT contract expires next month. Daughter is an Apple Gal, so I already know she's going to get an iPhone, but I'm wondering what DH should get.
I love my Evo 3D but see that VM doesn't carry it any more. Hubs currently has an iPhone 3, but isn't married to Apple.
Assuming that the Galaxy III is VM's best phone, what do you think number 2 would be? Pretty sure he'd like to keep the cost under $200. Am also pretty sure that he doesn't care much whether he has 3G or 4G. Basically, he uses his phone to talk and play Words With Friends. He also does a little texting, email checking/Facebooking/web browsing, but certainly isn't a power user.
What would youall recommend?

Best android phone for VIRGIN MOBILE?

Looking for a good droid phone for VIRGIN MOBILE. Definitely has to be a "smart" phone.
Is this phone and Virgin Mobile good?
location: droidmania.com - date: February 28, 2013
I've been with MetroPCS for a while, and I've been with Virgin Mobile before, but I'm considering going back to Virgin Mobile because its a little cheaper and has some better phones. If I do go to Virgin Mobile, I would like to get the new Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE, but LTE is not in my area. So, my next choice would be the Galaxy SII
But I really want to know if the phone itself is good? I mean, its the SIII's little brother, so I would imagine its good, but I want to hear from people who actually have it.
Also, is the 4G WiMAX any good? Does it go anywhere near 3-5MB/s? I live next to a Clear WiMAX tower, and I know Sprint uses Clear's WiMAX towers, would my speeds increase?
Thanks in advance

Bricked Virgin Mobile Supreme (N9810) Stuck at Android Logo
location: droidmania.com - date: April 27, 2014
So, this is the 3rd time I have bricked a n9810. I know, I should be more careful, but I did not expect this. I'll give a run down- A while ago, I replaced the system gallery/camera app with a newer version (4.2 I think) and all went well. I moved it to system/apps to keep it there, which I thought was a "good move." Earlier today, I tried to do a panoramic photo, but it forced-closed the app. Seeing this, I went on Chrome to find a new stock camera app, and each time I would download one, it would say I was replacing an app, but I didn't care, but each one didn't install. I remembered seeing somewhere that moving an app to system/apps would help it, so that's what I did (I moved the camera/gallery app I had just installed to system/apps), and rebooted.
Looking back on this, I realized how stupid that was.
It must've been a corrupt app, or something like that, because when it "tried" to turn back on, it didn't even go to the boot animation. It just stopped a
