[Q] YouTube app broken "There was a problem with the network "
location: androidpark.com - date: December 28, 2012
After one of the recent updates to the youtube app, I haven't been able to watch any videos. No matter what I do in the app, I always get the error "There was a problem with the network " and the loading icon just spins forever. This happens on launch, when searching, and when being linked in from outside the app.
I've gotten this error before on older versions of the app, but it never prevented me from using the app. I have a feeling it has to do with my youtube account/email associated with my google account being suspended (happened years ago for uploading clips from a concert I went to, which is BS since youtube is full of them now).
Anyways, does anyone know what I can do to make the app work again? Is there a way to add an alternate youtube account? The "sign in" option does not allow me to specify an email.
I'm using a Nexus 7 on 4.2 and a Razr Maxx on 4.1.2 and Youtube app version 4.2.16

Got this error "There was a problem with network " on the Youtube app when I tried to add a video to Watch Later playlist. I googled but could not find an answer. This is apparently a common problem so I hope to get an answer here. Thanks.
[Q] YouTube App "playlist" problem?
location: androidpark.com - date: January 26, 2012
I did a search on youtube forums and seems like there is a widespread outage.
Problem: When trying to access my youtube "playlist" & "watch later"I get an error. It says, "there was a problem with the network .
Everything seems to be fine when I access them from the browser, it's the app. This problem is also using Google TV (Revue).
Anyone else have problems accessing their playlist using the app?

Evening folks, over the last couple of nights I have tried to install various apps from the Android market. Trouble is, every one has come up with "Download unsuccessful" in the notification bar.
Is there a problem/lack of storage space on either my Wildfire or the market place?
Thanks in advance, folks.
[Q] Youtube:There was a problem starting up. Please check your network

**I have searched everywhere on this forum but it doesn't look like this question has been brought up or the latter part of my problem.
I am running a rooted Thunderbolt w/ VirusROM AirborneTB w/ the kernel that comes with the rom.
I can't play any videos on youtube. After troubleshooting for hours following these steps:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=688054 I can now watch Youtube via my phone browser but not the Youtube application. It will say: "There was a problem while playing, Touch to retry." So what I did was uninstall the application via Root Explorer then downloaded the Youtube application again. When I did that, it gave me another response: "There was a problem starting up Please check your network connection and system time."
I found that by loading the application again from Titanium backup pro with data so, Application + Data, I'm able to at least get as far as seeing the video thumbnails but not able to watch videos on the

I just got a new computer, and I couldn't remember my google password. I reset it, and now I can'c log into google from my phone. It never shows a window to enter my password, and when I refresh gmail, it says I need to sign in. When I click on the sign in, I get a message saying "There was a problem communicating with google servers" try again later. But it never asks me for my login/pasword.
I tried rebooting, but they didn't help.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Problem with YouTube app

Every time I open YouTube app it says,"an error occurred" down at the bottom of my screen. It won't let me sign in either. All I can do is watch videos and sometimes it takes forever to load. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Problem with YouTube App

I can't get the YouTube App to work. I can open YouTube from within a browser, but it won't open from the app- it just returns me to the Home screen. The widgit on the home screen shows the following message "Connection problem. Touch to try again" I am on wi-fi when I tried to use the app.
My browser is working fine on my wi-fi, and my signal is strong.
