Please Support Improved Android Voice Dialer
location: androidpark.com - date: October 6, 2009
The voice dialer in the Android platform is so incredibly flawed yet it doesn't seem as if they notice/care. This issue needs to be starred by more people for it to become something they will look at IMO.
Why should a voice dialer require user input? Isn't the point of a voice dialer such that you can use it by simply pressing the button on your BT headset and instructing the application to choose for you?
Thanks for your time.
Fast root no computer nor app

This is only for the Motorola triumph for some reason every triumph is already half way rooted you just need to command it to fully give you root access
Step 1: Download Android Terminal Emulator
from the market.
Step 2: Open up the Emulator and type in sudo,
you should get the # symbol.
Step 3: Type in the following code:
ln -s /system/xbin/sudo /system/bin/su
ln -s /system/xbin/sudo /system/xbin/su
Step 4: Reboot and you should have root
NOTE: This will not install busybox, so if
you wish to have busybox you will have to
install it from the market or manually. This just
provides you with root access.
THERE YOU GO GUYS

Call History/Dialer/Missed call Default Option not saved
location: droidradar.com - date: December 8, 2013
Since the time I have upgraded to KitKat- I have been facing the issue of Call History. Every Time I miss a Call and I click on the name/number- Its asks me to select a default option of whoch way to open that entry , that is, through Dialer or through History. I tried selecting history and clicked on the "always use this option" but the same thing kept happening every time. After a few tries, I chose the other option and did the same thing and it again kept appearing... It looks like there's a bug in this and it never really saves my preference.
Anyone else facing the same issue?

Anyone remember this game? It was quite simple and a time killer. After reading the forum about OpenTTD being ported to Android, I'd love to see Jones also get ported!

help! htc crashing, losing charge fast and running slow.
location: droidmania.com - date: November 12, 2013
new to this forum, i joined because i'm really struggling to find a solution to my problem, been googling and searching on here for quite some time now, but still no luck.
My htc sensation xe running on 4.0.3 has been crashing quite persistantly now, not on any app in particular, it has crashed on pretty much every app i have.
i have tried using a higher capacity and faster sd card, but it made no difference.
also my google chrome and snapchat app icons have change to android symbols. i've reinstalled them a few times, and the icons do come back, but after a while they change back to the android symbols.
my htc also seems to be running slow.
ive tried clearing space on internal and external memory, but its made no difference to the speed.
i recently downloaded avg free antivirus aswell because i thought it might be a virus behind all this, but i found nothing.
one more thing, it seems to be losing charge faster than it did before.
i've tried closing running apps down fu
[Q] XMPP Dialer for direct GV dialing?
location: androidpark.com - date: October 24, 2011
So I have done a lot of googling and I don't think it exists but not sure why not.
I am looking for an android app that allows direct dialing through Google voice (over data not normal minutes). It should be completely possible via XMPP (if I am not mistaken). Ideally it could be highly integrated with the default dialer and be the perfect android VoIP solution.
I really want to move to a data only plan (tmo $30 prepaid 5gb+).
Is something technically preventing this, are there any projects already working on this? Or any developers ready to take a shot I would throw in some money and I am sure a lot of other people would too.
BTW phone is a Samsung Galaxy S II (T-Mobile) SGH-T989 if there are device specific concerns
