Malware get the telephone number from whatsup and telegram account.
I develop a free and simple app for:
* - Detect these permissions in installer apps.
* - Notify if any of these applications are installing in real time.
* - Mark Trusted apliaciones. (exclude facebook, etc...)
Also this app is helping us to obtain data about the existence of these malware to try to make a blacklist. View ubication etc..
Even more strange mp3/tagging/album art question...
location: droidmania.com - date: April 15, 2014
I am brand new to the Android OS and community. I came across a strange issue while adding music to my new S4. I have a series of compilation albums that were not released on any label, but were compiled by a blogger. Each compilation is tagged by the album name or compilation name. The album artist field is "Various Artists". The only thing that changes on a per song basis is the song title, artist, and album art. Now, I know the album art generally would be the same throughout. However, I chose to add the original album art for each song as kind of a historical/visual reference. I have had no problems with this format on my laptop media player.
When I add any of these compilation albums, it recognizes everything perfectly except the album art. It chooses the album art for track one and uses that for the rest of the songs. I have gone over the tagging on these multiple times to ensure that they were uniform. I have tried 4-5 different mp3 player apps, and still
Why won't Android work with MP3 controls on headphones? And why does Android mess up album info?
location: droidmania.com - date: March 11, 2013
This is a little issue but it's always bugged me. I have a nice pair of headphones with MP3 controls on them but they do nothing on Android. If they're plugged into a phone they'll act as a control for the phone (and, very helpfully, hitting the play/pause button will randomly dial the last number called ) but they don't work as MP3 controls at all.
The second issue might even be a "feature", I don't know, but you have to be very careful how you organise your music or it screws up the album information. On every Android device I've ever owned (and I've used Android since the G1), if I just dump all my music into one folder, the album art is replaced with random stuff from my library and the album name is the name of the folder. The only way to get around this is manually making folders for every artist and taking the time to sort the music, which is just a PITA.
How come this hasn't been sorted yet? It really hinders the use of my Android devices as music players. I act
Android mp3 Player
location: droidmania.com - date: December 29, 2013
I would like to get an Android OS media player in a similar functionality to the iPod Touch gen 5.
I don't really want or need a phone but I haven't really seen any stand alone iPod Touch type Android media players.
At this point I am considering a Nexus 5.
Again, I don't need or necessarily want a phone but if I can't find a full featured player I will probably get the Nexus 5.
I am familiar with Android and just don't care for Apple's "walled" concept.
Silly question: Desire as MP3 player only
location: droidmania.com - date: March 2, 2014
So I bought a Nexus 4 a few months ago and have a spare Desire hanging about. Other than as an occasional spare phone (assuming I have to return the Nexus 4 or planning on doing something silly), I have no use for it, so I'm thinking of using it as MP3 player device.
Given that I won't need the phone functionality or even the SenseUI, is there a particular ROM that might be suitable for my requirements? I don't think I need all the features that some ROMs came with, and one of the last Sense 3.x ROMs I tried really slowed the device down.
All ideas welcome
Factory Reset Droid 3/MP3 player
location: droidmania.com - date: October 11, 2013
I changed my Droid 3 to a Motorola Razr. I want to use the Droid 3 just as a music player but I factory reset it now it wants me to go through the set up. Is it too late to use as just a music player?
Using phone as MP3 player...
location: droidmania.com - date: December 4, 2012
A little Backstory: This is not my 1st HTC or my 1st Android. Actually my 1st Android was an HTC Inspire (ATT). Let's just say we had a serious love/hate relationship & as soon as I became eligible, I wasted no time upgrading to the phone I have now (Samsung GS3). Anyway, I can't afford and don't really want an iPod but needed a new MP3 player. I read an article suggesting I could turn my old phone into one but it's pretty much useless. So I bought this one. I plan on using it exclusively as an MP3 player and have a 64GB card installed.
1. Has anyone ever done the same thing?
2. I don't want anything else on the Micro SD but music and don't plan on taking photos, so how can I make sure no apps or files are automatically installed onto the SD card?
3. Can anyone recommend a [preferably free] cross platform music downloading/organizing app/software?
I did have a few more questions but am drawing a blank, so anything else I should be aware of? I'm also purchasing the lowe
Want to turn my Hydro into a dedicated MP3 player
location: droidmania.com - date: April 7, 2014
Hello all, I was wondering if you can help me. I bought a kyocera hydro for $22 on Amazon with the thought that it would be a dedicated MP3 player, intending to load it up with music and not use up data by streaming.
It has been working okay, but for some reason I can't tell Google Play Music to save pinned music to the SD card, so this greatly limits the amount of music I can save to it even with my nice big SD card I bought for it. I was wondering if you guys knew a way I could turn it into just strictly an MP3 player? Ideally, I would like to remove all the apps and phone bits from it, and just have it strictly play music. Is it okay to remove literally everything including phone, data, etc? If I could do that, then I would be happy to just put all my music directly on the SD card and not have to worry about Google Play Music.
Thanks in advance!
