1x2 digital clock widget?
location: droidmania.com - date: December 21, 2010
First of all, hi everyone, just signed up today. I've been lurking around the forum for a couple of days now, after just getting an HTC Desire HD last Sunday. It really has helped me a bunch and seems a great place, so hopefully i'll get posting a decent amount.
I'd like to apologize for how basic this thread is, but i've been looking around for a while for a 1x2 digital clock widget, and can't really find many decent ones, and the standard digital clock is too big (2x4?). So any help/reccomendations would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I realise this is the 'Desire' area of the forum... Is it ok to post in here or should this have been in the 'Desire HD' area? :/
Dual clock widget for different time zones
location: droidmania.com - date: August 27, 2011
Hi everyone, I have just changed from an HTC Hero to a Galaxy S2. On the Hero there was a widget for 2 clocks, one could be set to home base time and the second picked up local time and location automatically from the cell operator. Does anyone know if this is available on the Galaxy, I do a fair amount of travelling and found it very useful. Thanks in advance
Why most people put clock widget on home screen?
location: droidmania.com - date: December 12, 2012
Coming from the iPhone, I have got to ask. The time is already up on the status bar, so why do most people put a big clock widget up on the home screen? I can understand date or weather, but why a big display of time? Just because it is bigger and easier to see?
Why is Blink feed still using Most*battery after turned off?
location: droidradar.com - date: May 19, 2014
I turned off Blinkfeed from my pages. And to make sure no sync is going on I even turned off sync accounts in Blinkfeed before turning off.
For some reason it is still draining the most battery on my phone? Anyone know Hi of to fix that?

Trickle Charging Using Battery Monitor Widget
location: androidpark.com - date: April 23, 2013
So I'm on Android 4.2.2 (LiquidSmooth v2.2),
and pretty much ever since a long time ago, I use Battery Monitor Widget to charge the battery to most maximum capacity.
I would make the update rate every 1 minute, then as the % goes from 99--->100%, I would see the charge rate slowly but surely go from +200mA to +100 to +50 to +2 to +1mA....then once it reached +0mA, I knew the charge was COMPLETELY done (I had even set up a notification trigger to play music once "Charging Completed" had been properly reached)
However, recently, for some reason, or maybe it's the ROM or maybe I'm doing this wrong to begin with, but the "mA" will not hit +0mA, it was just stuck at +1mA.
Neither does the music/song play to indicate "Charging Complete". What is going on? I use Greenify but I made an exception for this application.
Can anyone send me the "Clock Widget Pack Glass" .apk?
location: droidmania.com - date: July 8, 2011
I'm talking about the "Clock Widget Pack Glass" by DNS Project. It's a style pack configured to work with the app "Animated Analog Clock Widget", also by DNS Project. This app here:
If so, could you please send me the .apk? I've searched several times in the Market on my device and it can't find it. Tried downloading from multiple android sites but they all point to the Market link. Tried searching online for it, but found nothing. If you have it, I'd love it if you send me the .apk.
If you have it installed but don't have the .apk, you can use AndroZip or other app backup managers to create the .apk from the program you have installed. If you can upload it somewhere, that'd be great, or PM for my email address and that'd be fine too.
No default weather app/widget??
location: droidradar.com - date: February 9, 2013
Is there no default (built-in) weather app in the Nexus 7? I notice one came on my Samsung Galaxy S3 so figured the Nexus would have one.
I realize the Galaxy has some Samsung stuff built but looking at everything the Nexus does have it seems like an odd exclusion.

Weather radar widget?

Any good recommendations for a weather radar/map widget, preferably one that is animated? Scalable in ICS would be really cool!

HTC clock widget bug?
location: droidradar.com - date: October 11, 2009
I have a minor issue where the HTC clock/weather widget on the home screen runs an hour behind (ie: current time 4:51pm, widget shows 3:51), while the correct time displays in the notification bar. I've reset my home city, tried to fake it out by selecting a major city in the same time zone, shut off gps, turned off network defaults and set manually, reset my profile, rebooted, and thus far, nothing helps. My home city displays in the menu screens with the correct time, but there is always a "current" location with a one hour lag just above it at the top of the list. The current location cannot be deleted, and the widget defaults to "current", which is always an hour behind. Any ideas? TIA
Weather/clock always on wrong city.

I've tried everything. No matter what, the HTC clock/weather widget shows the incorrect current city. Any ideas?
